How to change currency symbol?

How to change currency symbol?

Hi Adillis

I have two money database fields. Currently in smartdbview they show the dollar sign next to the value. How can I change the currency sign that will be used for display?

Hi Smir,

The currency symbol and currency format for the MoneyTemplate depend on the current culture. The page culture can be changed by modifying the Culture attribute in the <%@ Page %> directive.

Hi
Thank you. Problem is I cant change locale I need only to change the symbols. The two money fields should display different currency symbols.

Dear Smir,

You can workaround this by using the NumberTemplate instead of the MoneyTemplate. You can manually change the template to be used by modifying the SmartDBControl.TemplateID property. In this case there will be no currency symbol and you will be able to add it directly into the html.

In the next release smartDBforms.NET 1.8 we will add a new feature to the MoneyTemplate template. The MoneyTemplate template will allow modifying of the currency symbol to be used or hiding it.
